Silver Champion Golden Ale, Champion Beer of Britain Competition Explorer is light and refreshing, suffused with the aromas of a grapefruit grove. The citrus attack will burst on your palate as the hops deliver their fruity bitterness. Available in 500ml bottle and in keg in selected Wetherpoon outlets. Pale Ale malt is used to provide the biscuity backbone of this blonde beer but it’s the hops that give it its personality. We use two American hops, grown in the Yakima Valley in Washington. These hops, called Columbus and Chinook, add wonderful grapefruit flavours to the beer.
Aroma: Humlepreget aroma, innslag av barnål, kamfer, litt lyst malt, kjeks, tropisk frukt, te og urt.
Smak: Kremet med tydelig humlepreg, balsamiske toner av bergamott, te og barnål, litt lyst malt og knekk.
