White wax, coconut. Double dark ale is our attempt to brew from scratch a beer that rides the line between barleywine and imperial stout. This version was aged for 19 months in a blend of Willett rye, and 15 year 1792 Calomet Farms bourbon barrels and finished on toasted coconut. Brewed in honor of one of the most innovative, pioneering, and influential blade smiths in our modern era, Steve Schwarzer.
