Boom! The legendary Icelandic Yule lad Hurðaskellir (Door Slammer) barges in from the starry night to wake you up with a bang. Enjoy the moment while it lasts, safe in the knowledge that when this unique guest is gone, he will have left behind the grand-slam of holiday gifts; chocolate, toffee and rye whiskey. So why slam the door? Well, how would you feel if you had just been released from several months’ confinement in an old rye whiskey barrel?
