For this special X-mas blend, a selection is made by our brewmaster between barrel-matured Quadrupel on the one hand and young Quadrupel on the other. The tannin from the barrels forms a harmonious whole with the rich notes of the special malts in the Quadrupel beer. The combination of the taste of the wood aging together with the young Quadrupel beer ensures a unique and powerful blend. Thanks to the refermentation in the bottle, the taste evolves year after year.
Aroma: Aroma av tørket frukt, hasselnøtter, vanilje og trevirke.
Smak: Preg av vanilje, tørket frukt, karamell og noe tre.
