The first in a new Patrons Projects series, Great Northern Grub; beery-takes on some of the North’s most iconic foods and flavours. First up, we’ve gone North of the border, with a Cranachan Pale Ale made with modern sour legends, Vault City. Cranachan is a traditional Scottish dessert, originally a celebration of harvest, made following the raspberry harvest in August. Cranachan is made with cream and fresh seasonal raspberries, bolstered by Scottish oats and whisky. It has been called 'the uncontested king of Scottish desserts'. You’ll find no arguments here. This Cranachan Pale Ale has flavours of raspberry, honey, whisky and a little bit of creaminess coming through.
Aroma: Aroma av bringebær og honning, hint av whisky.
Smak: Lett og frisk med preg av bringebær og honning, hint av whisky.
