Vikingr Seidr Mjød

This mead is made with a combination of techniques and methods, merging a dark mead, a Bochet, and a London stout ++. After this unholy union has merged into a new monstrosity, we let the evil sleep for nearly 2 years before it is unleashed onto the world. Aroma: Caramel, coffee, chocolate, dried fruit, honey, ripe apples. Taste: Complex, fresh acidity that does not destroy, but on the other hand binds together the flavors of caramel and dried fruit with hints of coffee. Well-balanced, medium-long aftertaste, good depth with chocolate, coffee and caramel at the core, with the addition of dried fruit and hints of ripe apple. Faint florality and hint of anise, extremely faint hint of soy-oriented umami. In summary: Easy to drink, good flavors that sit like a shot. Complex, but not opulent, with even flavor development in the glass and on the palate.
